Orthodox Church and Homosexuality

I Thank you guys for your carefully chosen words. 🙂

I don’t want to talk about anything that gross… But I still have a hard time putting “God” and “sex” in the same sentence. I do express my love for my husband sexually, but it’s not the reason for our love. I didn’t get married to facilitate sex… In my mind, the actual physical act of “making love” kind of gets relegated to the realm of sneezes, tears, hiccups, and other bodily functions. I refuse to elevate it to the level of importance that all those “male enhancement” commercials on TV tell us it should be. (I have actually heard people say that lots of sex is necessary for happiness… totally false of course, but this is the prevailing attitude.)
For me, taking good care of each other, (our families [spouses included], our friends, and even our perceived “worst enemies”) is so much more important than any kind of sex; gay, straight, or other.
