Currently, I’m facing doubts and frustrations. I am sick so I am disappointed that I will have to miss church tomorrow (I have never said this about church before lol) Anyway, a lot of things are changing, I feel the school year is going by fast, my friends and I no longer see each other. I’m just a bit scared for the future. I pray to God to grant me courage, patience, and wisdom. Sometimes, I also get frustrated with other Christians as well. I’m trying my best to hang in there. I know people change but it’s hard to face this fact.
MariaGuestTotally understand 🙂
I find the best thing to do is keep on praying. The other night, I was overwhelmed with all sorts of frustrations, doubts, and anxieties, that I couldn’t think straight. I went into my room to pray. I did the usual evening prayers from my prayer book and just tried to focus on them. Afterwards, I asked God to just take all those anxieties from me and help me to trust in Him. I can’t do anything, but all things are possible with God. Afterwards, I felt a lot better.
It’s also good to come onto the site and talk with like-minded people 🙂JoeGuestWe have all probably heard the saying, “the unexamined life is not worth living”… I tend to have the same outlook on faith… I also find that prayer is the best remedy for the occasional “spiritual blues” we all get from time to time. We really do have so many reasons to be joyful!
IsaacGuestThank you so much for your advice! I like to do both, prayer and talking with others. I always ask God to grant me patience.
