Thank you for your comment. The Holy Orthodox Church is perfect but imperfectly guided by the bishops of the Church. To look at the history of the Church one can view KGB agents in episcopal attire directing the actions of the Church in accordance with the wishes of the Soviet, atheistic, government, while at the same time, true, pious believers resisted, and worshipped secretly underground. While Christ explicitly forbids divorce except for the sin of infidelity (Matthew 19:9), the Church has allowed, for merciful reasons for straight people to be married up to three times. These are just two examples of numerous ones in history, where the earthly Church has changed its mind, ignored or bent the Scriptures, dogmas, traditions, and cannons. Therefore it is not inconceivable that the Church will change its mind about gay people and gay marriage within the Church.

In my experience the Church welcomes everyone who seeks it in love and humility and does not try to chnage it to suite themsevles. One must be in "communion" with the teachings, dogma, holy traditions and cannons to be able to partake of the sacrements. These are the rules set forth by Christ and his saints and the church fathers. We cannot re-write them to suit our temporal inclinations.

I am genuinely sorry that you don't feel welcome in your home church. I can imagine that's frustrating to you and I know too many people who get rejected by people in the church for even just suffering through sinful inclinations. It doesn't help for sure to meet struggle with rejection, because we're meant to overcome the struggle and by it grow closer to God.
That said, what I've tried to do for my homosexual inclinations is to give them to God and see what he returns. God takes bread and wine during communion and makes it his body and blood, he has the power to take the homosexuality he gave us and if we take it to him and ask for guidance, he'll make it beautiful.
So remember, whether or not people accept you into communion or their midst, God loves every part of you and knows you perfectly and how to help you. So be patient and faithful and you'll grow closer to him and more like him.
