In reply to Elias. Hello Elias. You are correct, I believe, that God is love and sees love. We live as a people of hope that the Orthodox Church will see us as God created us, in His image, regardless of our gender or sexual orientation. Your daughter, like everyone, is deserving of love and respect from the Church. We pray that one day the stance will change. Andriy

I have a teenaged daughter in need of prayer and guidance…She is gay and baptized Greek Orthodox. I am praying that the church will one day allow her to marry another woman. I am conflicted as a parent and an Orthodox Christain. I know that God sees marriage as sacred between two adults (regadless of their gender or orientation).

Omg, his story is so similar to mine. I have been trespassed off my Parish property. I can’t receive even though I have genetic results saying I have XX Chromosomes! But, I continue to cling to the Church in Hope.
